For over 100 years, San Carlos School has been providing superior quality Christian-based education for children in kindergarten through eighth grades. Opportunities for volunteering include hot lunch program, fundraising events, classroom assistance, and office support.
San Carlos School is located on the grounds of the “Royal Presidio Chapel,” and is run as a ministry of San Carlos Cathedral by a lay principal and a committed, dedicated, professional lay faculty. San Carlos School is deeply committed to our Franciscan history, culture and spirituality. Father Junipero Serra, founder of the California Missions and San Carlos Mission, and St. Francis of Assisi provide the spiritual foundation and unique expression of Catholicism in the school, curriculum and “hidden curriculum.”
San Carlos School is fully accredited and provides a challenging, solid, nurturing, community environment for nearly 300 children from Kindergarten through the Eighth grade.
